Oppression, Reshaping, Fragmentation, and Reorganization explores the tension between individual presence and collective structure through pressure, imprint, fragmentation, and connection.
Stones are repeatedly rearranged and pressed into gelatin plates, leaving distinct yet incomplete traces across mesh, paper, and translucent surfaces. These imprints are cut, layered, and sewn together, allowing individual marks to remain visible while becoming partially obscured by the structures surrounding them. Suspended in space, the fragments overlap and shift with the viewer’s position. Sewing functions both as a physical connection and as a structure that binds otherwise separate elements into a collective.
